Research
-
My scientific work focuses on exploring the correlations between stressful/traumatic situations, personal and environmental resources, coping and subjective well-being.
-
My research is anchored and expands theoretical models of stress and coping. Salutogenic questions are examined with reference to three central target populations: children and adolescents, those who support or/and surround them (e.g., parents, social workers, teachers), and healthcare providers (nurses and physicians).
Teaching

My popular courses are at both the BSW and MSW programs.

I supervise thesis (quantitative research method) and doctoral candidates in a number of areas (e.g., subjective well-being and meaning in life, stress and coping, personal and environmental resources in relate to stressful/traumatic situations, physical illness in the family and/or developmental disorders in children, posttraumatic growth).
