My research primarily focuses on exploring the links between stressful/ traumatic situations, personal and environmental resources, and subjective well-being.

My work is rooted in theoretical models based on stress and coping theories, which I expand by addressing salutogenic questions. I focus on three main target populations: children, adolescents, and the individuals who support or interact with them, including parents, social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers).
Teaching

I teach popular courses in both the BSW and MSW programs.

I also supervise theses (using quantitative research methods) and doctoral candidates in various areas, including subjective well-being and meaning in life, stress and coping, personal and environmental resources in relation to stressful or traumatic situations, physical illness within the family, developmental disorders in children, and posttraumatic growth.
Awards

Since 2010, I have been listed as “One of the 100" outstanding lecturers at Tel Aviv University.

I was awarded the “Rectors Award of Excellence in Teaching” four times, between the years 2010-2024.
